Spring is one of my favorite seasons to decorate. After the craziness of Christmas, I tend to swing to the other end of the pendulum and take virtually everything down. I like to start the beginning of the year with clean and clear simple home décor. It gives me a chance to envision my home and look at things in new light. But spring is the time when the home really comes to life.

It’s my favorite season because it brings color, light, and warmth to everything you see. Sometimes I like to go big with giant colorful flowers, Easter bunnies, and brightly decorated eggs, and other years I go for a more understated, but beautiful welcoming to spring. Whatever your tastes, I’m sure you’ll find lots of ideas in this spring home tour bringing you the best of spring décor from around the web.

At first glance, you can’t really tell what season it is based on this room, but it’s the subtle touches that make a big difference. The Nest pillow, bunny chalkboard, spring wall hanging, Easter banner and bright flowers combine to bring spring into the space without being completely obvious.

The first thing I noticed when I saw this photo were the carrots. Can you see them hiding here and there? So cute! A table like this is perfect in a hallway to give a little character to the space. It also is a perfect place to store platters, trays, and extra household supplies.

Let’s be honest, Easter really does have the best candy. Not the candy cane, nor the Valentine’s hearts will ever compete with the sacred robin eggs. Enjoy those Easter candies and use them as an adorable addition to your spring décor with this bunny bait display.

I love this tabletop display. This would look beautiful in a dining room, or even on a side table. Notice the eggs in the bottom of the vase which add a nice subtle pop of color. Don’t feel like all candlesticks need candles, nests look perfectly perched on these silver pillars.
